Time Limit: Participants will have access to the course and all associated course resources for three months (90 days).
Students who do not already have or have access to currently licensed Cellebrite hardware and software are encouraged to take one of our Instructor-Led or Live Online classes.
Students have a 90-day limited time period to access and complete all content, activities, and exams for this class. Access begins on the day the student’s enrollment is confirmed (voucher consumption) and can be monitored in the top left-hand menu of the class homepage, by use of a timer which shows students the number of days remaining for their access.
The Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) course is a three-day advanced level certification which builds on the knowledge and practical skills needed in using UFED Physical Analyzer software to conduct advanced analysis on mobile devices, including advanced search and analysis techniques to verify and validate findings. This class introduces students on how to generate reports on technical findings. The CCPA course is designed for technically savvy investigators, digital evidence analysts and forensic practitioners. This course focuses on the analysis and advanced search techniques using UFED Physical Analyzer. Extensive interaction and use of Cellebrite UFED Physical Analyzer software functionality is experienced during practical exercises demonstrating (a) the exploration of digital evidence, (b) recovery of deleted data, (c) database content analysis, (d) advanced search and analytic techniques, (e) the verification and validation, and (f) digital evidence device examination reporting.
The CCPA is the third course in the path to qualifying to attempt the capstone Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME), the CCPA curriculum focuses on the analysis and advanced search techniques available using the Cellebrite UFED Physical Analyzer. Participants will NOT be conducting direct device extractions in the completion of the CCPA program.
Achieving the CCPA certification is a prerequisite for earning the Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME) certification exam. It is strongly recommended that students in this course complete the Cellebrite Mobile Forensics Fundamentals (CMFF) course or test out, and the Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO) course prior to attending this class.
Students achieve the certification for this course upon passing a knowledge and practical skills assessment with a score of 80% or higher. The only way to earn the certification is certification is by successfully initiating and completing the associated course materials and examination process. Cellebrite does not currently offer a credit by examination (i.e. test-out) option for this class.
